Cooper Hansen Nature Photography was stared by Tom in 2020 as a means to share his passion for the outdoors. Named, in part by incorporating his mother’s maiden name (Cooper), Cooper Hansen Nature Photography was founded as a means to contribute to conservation efforts that improve wildlife habitat and has resulted in the formation Cooper Hansen Habitat Initiative.

Inspired by the work of Doug Tallamy, we believe that virtually everyone has a role to play in supporting our birds and wildlife by creating/protecting habitat, large or small. From host plants and keystone trees, to insect friendly lawns and gardens, to fields and woodlands providing shelter, food and water.
Mission: To propagate and protect NATIVE plants and ADVOCATE for improving the quality and quantity of HABITAT that benefit our birds, wildlife and people.

Gardens & Gallery
The Gardens offer nature walking paths and a creekside trail open to Studio and Gallery guests during Open Dates & Hours.
We host various events in support of the Cooper Hansen Habitat Initiative mission.
The Gallery showcases the work of Tom Hansen, Wisconsin Master Naturalist and Nature Photographer. The images include wildlife and landscapes as Wild Art Prints and Wildly Fine Art displayed on Artist Grade Canvas with Floating Frames for a more contemporary design.
