Bear Brawl
I had spent about 30 minutes watching the cinnamon colored sow Black Bear feed with her two cubs when the boar Black Bear showed up. That’s when the sow’s “mama Bear” instincts took over and she confronted the unwelcome boar. The encounter was brief and she made her point as the boar dropped to all fours and left the area. No Bears were injured in this incident.
